Staff Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs, 3D renderings, schematic designs, design development, and construction documents, in compliance with applicable codes

• Work on multiple projects while meeting budget and schedule constraints

• Attend project-related meetings, as needed

• Research project-related laws, codes, and other jurisdictional requirements

• Perform in-depth due diligence tasks

• Update and revise drawings per senior staff review

• Coordinate design with sub-consultants' drawings (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

• Update and maintain project archives, records, drawings, and specifications

• Consistently meet deadlines as required by project work and supervisors

• Perform additional related duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 2 - 15 years of experience working on similar projects

• Bachelor of Architecture (5-year degree) or Master of Architecture

• National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) record and/or Architect Registration Examination (ARE) candidate

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
