Data Centers are an aggressive market for Burns & McDonnell and are highlighted by several priority articles on our site. Mission Critical is an international practice for Burns & McDonnell involving exciting, collaborative work across many departments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project team leadership and coordination for finished plans, specification, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation+ Lead and produce accurate technical and contract documentation for project construction+ Lead and participate in construction administration, bid review and support, site visits, address technical issues, and improve quality during construction+ Work with government and regulatory agencies to achieve overall project schedule and objectives
- Manage resources to produce 3D software renderings and critical presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Architecture from an accredited program and 4 years of architectural experience or Master Degree in Architecture and 3 years of architectural experience required. Consulting experience preferred.+ Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.+ Strong knowledge in standard architectural techniques and procedures.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.+ Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.+ Strong computer skills (e.g.
Microsoft Office Suite)+ Strong computer skills (e.g. BIM (Revit), Adobe Suites, and 3D rendering programs).+ Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
