DUTIES:

Participate in design and implementation of the governance assurance and standards activities associated with ensuring enterprise technology architecture compliance. Partner closely with the Business, Data Stewardship, Artificial Intelligence team and deliver the continuous improvement on Tyson's Data management strategies. Partner to develop the future state IT landscape for Tyson Foods. Collaboratively develop high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state. Research, evaluate and assist in the selection of hardware, software technology, and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations for the set business needs. Collaborate with business constituents, other technology architecture team members, project teams, and staff in various IT functional areas as needed to fulfill the responsibilities described above. Understand, advocate, and augment the business and IT strategies and more specifically technology architecture development and service delivery for the stakeholders in business functions. Partner closely with other Architects across Tyson to drive solution delivery to a standard set of technology patterns and approaches. Telecommuting permitted two days per week.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related, and 6 years of experience in computer system engineering and business intelligence or related.

Must have experience with:

• Building physical and logical normalized data models;

• Building physical and logical dimensional data models;

• Translating tactical/strategic requirements into data architecture designs;

• Defining and coaching on data modeling standards;

• Performing detailed technical design, development, and testing strategies for data pipelines;

• Transact SQL (T-SQL);

• Data Profiling; and

• Data Analysis.
