Staff Accountant

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Fairfield, OH (on-site)

Work hour: 8:00am - 4:30pm

FLSA: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire

A global manufacturing company is seeking a Staff Accountant in Fairfield, OH. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, responsibilities include processing day-to-day accounting duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. The qualified candidate must have an accounting degree or relevant experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

Perform Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.

Maintain precise customer account information.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closures.

Prepare and record journal entries when necessary.

Assist in the preparation of documents for internal/external audits.

Collaborate with internal departments on accounting matters.

Pursue process improvements for increased productivity and efficiency.

Deliver accurate reports with minimal errors.

Cultivate effective communication within the team and external contacts.

Manage various clerical duties and undertake special projects as required.

Qualifications:

0-3 years of accounting experience required.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business field is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
