Staff Accountant

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a staff accountant. The selected candidate will provide accounting and analytical support for billing general accounting functions. This position reports to the Billing Manager.

What You'll Do

• Produce billing invoices in a commercial and government setting

• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis

• Perform other general accounting activities such as Fixed Assets and complete analytical processes

What You'll Bring

• Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Accounting

• Experience: 3+ years of experience

• MBA, CPA or CMA a plus

• Must be able to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

• Position requires excellent communications skills, and a positive, customer service orientation

• Attention to detail a must

• Exposure to Deltek Costpoint is a plus

• Experience in government billing preferred

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $60,000 to $69,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
