The Staff Accountant will be responsible for GL and Accounts Payable functions: ? Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end close ? Assist in reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintain Fixed Assets schedule ? Process inter-company charges and work with finance groups in other locations ? Assist in preparation and booking of quarterly management fee payments and quarterly intercompany repay processes ? Assist with preparation of annual property tax filings (571-L Business Property Statement) and 1099 forms at year-end ? Provide supporting documentation for audit requests ? Process employee expense reports and corporate credit card payments and ensure compliance of company policies ? Allocate expenses among multiple entities ? Process vendor invoices, monitor AP Mailbox for vendor invoices, respond to vendor inquires, and prepare check runs ? Request and follow up donation contribution confirmations ? Maintain files and document thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices ? Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements:
? Bachelor?s Degree Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with GL and accounts payable ? Experience with GP Dynamics is a plus ? Familiar with ADP payroll processing is a plus ? Proficient in Microsoft Office including an excellent working knowledge of Excel ? skills ? Experience with multi-currency, multi-subsidiarity environment a plus ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills ? Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills ? VIEW JOBS 1/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-15T00:00 The Linac Coherent Light Source-II (LCLS II) Project is a major expansion of the world's first x-ray free-electron laser, located at SLAC. This project will construct a 4 GeV continuous-wave (CW) superconducting electron linear accelerator in the existing 2-Mile Linac facility. The Project has an opening for a cryogenic engineer with technical training appropriate to support the design, construction and operation of superconducting systems (cryogenic refrigeration plant, liquid helium transfer lines, cryogenic linear accelerator systems). In this position, you will work with design and manufacturing teams at participating laboratories to achieve best possible operation of the cryogenic facility. In later stages, the emphasis of your duties will shift to commissioning of the cryogenic facility in line with Project progress and requirements. After the project completion, you will work with senior scientific and engineering staff in the operation and further enhancements of the completed linear accelerator and helium liquification facilities. You will also have additional opportunities to participate in and contribute to other LCLS-II cryogenic systems initiatives and collaborate with SLAC, Fermilab and Jefferson Lab engineers. Your specific responsibilities include: * Design of LCLS-II cryogenic systems. * Acquisition of components for major cryogenic systems. * Planning the systems integration, installation, and checkout and commissioning of the superconducting linac and associated cryogenic systems. * Implementing safety in design, construction/installation and operation of the LCLS-II linac facility. * Preparation of cost estimates and schedules to support LCLS-II project planning and reporting requirements. * Upon completion of cryogenic systems commissioning, responsibilities will include: * Participation in the operation of a complex cryogenic facility including the coordination of operation and maintenance activities. * Management of the technical documentation related to LCLS-II cryogenic systems. To be successful in this position you will bring: * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, physics or related field and minimum 2 years of relevant experience related to the design and operation of large scale industrial cryogenic systems. * Coursework and/or research in applied thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, process engineering including production control, low temperature applied physics and helium cryogenics. * Experience working with PLC software and controls for cryogenic facilities. * Strong analytical and computational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse population and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
