Process various accounting department duties in a high-growth environment. Reporting directly to the Accounting Operations Manager, but working as part of a team, the ideal candidate will be able to quickly learn current procedures and policies and participate in process improvements. We are seeking a self-starter adept at getting things done and working with others, very high personal and professional values, attention to detail, strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Generating customer invoices daily
Sending customer account statements monthly
Producing weekly collection reports and updates with follow up on unpaid past due balances
Coding AP expense invoices
Maintaining AP automation software users and setup
Prepare vendor payments as per approval policy
Record daily bank transactions (customer payments, vendor payments, other cash transactions)
Intercompany AP/AR reconciliations
Participate in the month-end close process for the US General Ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis.
Manage Company-wide credit card program and reporting.
Support annual audit and tax requirements, including preparation of required materials.
Work on process improvement and system implementation projects as required.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or 2+ years of accounting experience
Experience in manufacturing or high-tech industry preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX desired.
Solid knowledge of US GAAP and ability to communicate accounting concepts.
Proficient with MS Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Must enjoy problem solving, streamlining work, identifying areas for improvement and following through to drive related changes.
