Process various accounting department duties in a high-growth environment. Reporting directly to the Accounting Operations Manager, but working as part of a team, the ideal candidate will be able to quickly learn current procedures and policies and participate in process improvements. We are seeking a self-starter adept at getting things done and working with others, very high personal and professional values, attention to detail, strong work ethic and positive attitude.


  • Generating customer invoices daily

  • Sending customer account statements monthly

  • Producing weekly collection reports and updates with follow up on unpaid past due balances

  • Coding AP expense invoices

  • Maintaining AP automation software users and setup

  • Prepare vendor payments as per approval policy

  • Record daily bank transactions (customer payments, vendor payments, other cash transactions)

  • Intercompany AP/AR reconciliations

  • Participate in the month-end close process for the US General Ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis.

  • Manage Company-wide credit card program and reporting.

  • Support annual audit and tax requirements, including preparation of required materials.

  • Work on process improvement and system implementation projects as required.


  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain business relationships.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or 2+ years of accounting experience

  • Experience in manufacturing or high-tech industry preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX desired.

  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP and ability to communicate accounting concepts.

  • Proficient with MS Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

  • Must enjoy problem solving, streamlining work, identifying areas for improvement and following through to drive related changes.

SUMMARY Primarily responsible for assisting in the execution of established Company accounting practices, including account reconciliation, journal postings, and the preparation of periodic financial reports for management by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. * Assist with the closing of financial systems, including preparation and posting of general journal entries and preparation and analysis of account balance reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaids and accrued liabilities. * Assist with developing, documenting, implementing, and updating, when necessary and applicable, processes and procedures within the accounting department. * Prepare financial schedules in conjunction with audits of the Company's records. * Perform regular account review, ensuring accurate posting of transactions. * Interface with other departments regularly to provide high level of customer service, including assistance with account coding and transaction research as needed. * Assist with departmental projects or reporting as needed. * Employee will be expected to work additional hours as determined by job responsibilities, particularly during month-end closes. * All Employees are expected to perform any reasonable work requested that falls within the qualifications but not specifically described. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting. * Working knowledge of GAAP. * A working knowledge of basic computer and e-mail programs with strong MS Excel and MS Word skills is essential. * Experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite or another cloud-based system, a plus. * SEC and work with a publicly traded company a plus. * Demonstrated ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment. * Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal skill.
