Position Overview: As a Staff Accountant at Luck Companies, you'll play a crucial role in our finance department under the guidance of our Accounting Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members to facilitate the month-end close process, ensuring accurate recording of journal entries and meticulous reconciliation of accounts. You'll utilize your expertise in ERP modules to maintain system integrity and assist in system maintenance and upgrades. Additionally, you'll contribute to the completion of operating budgets, assist in preparing schedules for external auditors and tax preparers, and participate in ad hoc projects aimed at advancing our department's goals.

This position is located at our corporate office. It is not remote or hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly close tasks, including journal entry recording, account reconciliation, and ERP module closing.

• Prepare lead schedules and gather documentation for external audits and tax returns, effectively communicating with auditors and the Accounting Supervisor.

• Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Assist in system set-ups and testing during ERP upgrades to ensure optimal system performance.

• Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CPA track preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.

Salary range starts at $61,000. Offers will go up from there depending upon experience and transferable skills.
