Staff Accountant

Insero Talent Solutions has partnered with a growing Property Management company in Rochester, NY to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a direct hire position. 

Job Duties:

• Handle all aspects of accounts payable function
• Assist with cash deposits 
• Work closely with Accounting Manager to facilitate month end close for assigned properties
• Maintain various account reconciliations
• Responsible for recording journal entries
• Reconciling general ledger accounts
• Assisting in projects as they arise

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent in accounting, bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in accounting
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, analytical skills
• Ability to reconcile, identify, research and resolve issues
• Must be proficient in Excel
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
