Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will complete various accounting tasks such as, month-end journal entries, rebate reconciliation and management, inventory management, and additional accounting tasks. This role is Monday

• Friday, 8:00 am

• 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Rebates/Vendor Cost Support: Maintains and completes rebate claims and reconciles credits received from subcontractors.

• Inventory: Reconciles shipping / receiving documents w/ERP, tracks and monitors cycle count results, processes internal inventory adjustments.

• Project Management: Assists with the implementation of accounting related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Cash Management: Responsible for cash posting to general ledger and approve Positive Pay. Pulling remittance details for the AR team to apply.

• Reconciliation: Perform various reconciliation related tasks associated with Credit Card charges

• Admin Support: Perform various tasks such as small parcel tracking in the ERP system, reviewing of billing exception reports, Renu amazon and ebay payments applied in ERP, GL account investigations (balances/entries) etc.

Qualifications

You have:

• A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience • Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written)• 3

• 5 years of prior accounting experience. Prior experience in distribution is preferred.• MS Word and Excel proficiency
