We are looking for a diligent Staff Accountant to join our accounting department. The Staff Accountant's responsibilities include managing AR processes, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with close processes. You will also be assisting the Accounting team with adhoc information and audit requests as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare, post, and document financial transactions and journal entries in accordance with GAAP
Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries (monthly, adjusting, and/or recurring) and related reconciliations for month-end and year-end closing
Generate bills and invoices specific to customer accounts while performing a detailed review of contracts to ensure correct pricing is applied, correct or update if needed
Assist in financial statement or sales tax audit preparation
Maintain the fixed assets register and related depreciation and reconciliations
Support new and ongoing projects
B.S. in Accounting or Finance
1-3 years of general accounting experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Maintain high level of confidentiality regarding client and company financial information
Independent thought leader with a strong work ethic and ability to manage workload
Work effectively in a team environment where some personnel are off-site
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral with all internal and external contacts
Proficient Excel abilities (Vlookups and Pivot Tables)

Common office/desk environment that involves long periods of time at a stationary desk with extensive computer work that requires repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
