Staff Accountant

Greenlight Networks' Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial information in relation to journal entries, account reconciliations, variance reporting and the month-end close process. This position is an integral part of the accounting and finance team and works cross functinally with all departments providing accounting support and guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for fully cycle Accounts Payable functions including invoice coding, payment processing, setup of new vendor accounts, and responding to vendor inquiries. Field quesitons from Greenlight team members as it relates to AP related issues within various functions.

• Assist with monthly and year-end close

• Prepare journal entries in a timely and accurate manner

• Prepare account reconciliations; research and resolve variances

• Assist in ensuring the compliance with established controls and procedures

• Assist in the annual audit performed by external auditors

• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to financial reporting systems, as well as accounting and internal control procedures

• Assist with special projects, as assigned

• Perform other duties as assigned, working as part of a overall team, lending assistance, learning new functions and supporting the team to hit milestones and goals for the department and the company.

• Other functions as deemed necessary to support Greenlight's network design and build.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The annual pay range for this position is $59k - $65K. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
