Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for facility financial reports - preparation and analysis of these reports.
Ensure Maersk processes and procedures being adhered to.
Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
Reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
Assist manager with internal and external audit requests.
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports.
Frequent communication with facility management and Financial Business Partners, regarding working capital and financial reports.
Balance Sheet reconciliations performed at monthly closing.
Who we are looking for
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
3-5 years in accounting/finance experience
Advanced level in Excel, including pivot tables and v-look ups
Proven track record of timely reporting of financial statements by Day 3 after monthly close (or close to). Limited amount of prior period transactions affecting current month results.
Strong communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
