Staff Accountant - Corporate

Job Description Job Description Salary $60,000-$85,000 We have an outstanding opportunity for a Staff Accountant for our Corporate Headquarters in Vadnais Heights, MN. Qualifications: 4 year degree Accounting/Finance required 1-2 years related experience.

Knowledge of Internal Controls Must possess strong analytical skills, including problem analysis and resolution. Microsoft Excel, Outlook, ERP system experience preferred Must have strong interpersonal skills, and show ability to work independently as well as participate effectively in a team environment. Major Objectives:

Maintain a strong internal control environment Ensure inventory integrity (cost and quantity) Provide management with accurate and timely reporting Essential Responsibilities: Perform the monthly financial close for North American Composites. This includes preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.

Ensure cost and revenue accuracy. Review cycle count activities to ensure counts are being conducted and variances explained. Analyze and submit miscellaneous inventory adjustment requests.

Reconcile inventories at the public warehouses monthly. Perform inventory audits (travel required 4-6 times per year). Track returns to vendors and the timely receipt of credits. Calculate sales commissions.
