Position Summary

The Terminal Staff Accountant (Business Analyst) is responsible for providing financial and inventory support to their assigned locations.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily product invoices are distributed with the proper volumes, rates and taxes.

  • Review contracts and apply applicable volumes and rates on to monthly storage invoices.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Ensure correct coding and approvals of vendor invoices. Initiate or makes corrections when needed.

  • Review vendor invoices in detail and follow up on any questionable charges.

  • Assist in defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.

  • Assist in the design, development and testing of accounting systems.

  • Back-up inventory process including bulk entry into software.

  • Back-up on basic data entry including driver, and carrier information.
