The Terminal Staff Accountant (Business Analyst) is responsible for providing financial and inventory support to their assigned locations.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure daily product invoices are distributed with the proper volumes, rates and taxes.
Review contracts and apply applicable volumes and rates on to monthly storage invoices.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure correct coding and approvals of vendor invoices. Initiate or makes corrections when needed.
Review vendor invoices in detail and follow up on any questionable charges.
Assist in defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.
Assist in the design, development and testing of accounting systems.
Back-up inventory process including bulk entry into software.
Back-up on basic data entry including driver, and carrier information.
