Staff Accountant

Summary

Assist the Accounting Manager and Controller with the monthly financial closing process including the preparation of monthly journal entries and reconciliations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties as assigned.

• Prepares monthly journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and monthly close tasks as assigned.

• Maintain fixed asset records and controls.

• Project Accounting.

• Lease Accounting.

• Assist with Quarterly Reporting.

• Gathers data for internal and external audits.

• Cash flow and ABL reporting

• Responsible for implementing and complying with all ethical and legal compliance requirements.

• Other duties & functions may be assigned to this position as needed.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in either accounting of finance.

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and familiar with the entire Microsoft suite

• Familiarity with ERP software.

• Familiarity with Sox Compliance and internal controls.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface and communicate with all levels of the organization.
