Staff Accountant

The Finance team is imperative to our long-term profitability, and our success is dependent on our ability to deliver extraordinary value to our customers. Our team is responsible for all financial aspects of the business, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, and treasury management.

Our next Staff Accountant will have a significant impact in shaping our Accounting and Finance controls, policies, and procedures. As a key partner to the VP of Finance and Operations, this individual will drive growth and scalability through attention to detail, process improvement, supporting various stakeholders, and more.

Requirements

Responsibilities

A successful Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records
• Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
• Processing invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
• Managing accounts receivable and payable
• Reconciling accounts
• Assisting with audits and tax preparation
• Ad-hoc projects

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a SaaS company
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and SaaS (ASC 606) accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Jirav, and Maxio is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
