Our client is a reputable non-profit located in Contra Costa County area and needs help with getting their bank reconciliations done in time before their audit. This will be approximately an 8-12 week project, which could keep extending, and will help them get everything done to be ready for the audit. The Staff Accountant will be taking on: -Bank reconciliations--over a year backlogged
Reconciliations of credit card statements (12 months back), and processing expense reports
Work closely with both the Senior Accountant and Controller to ensure everything is on track The ideal candidate will feel comfortable working for a small company, a little under 100 employees, wear multiple hats and help out in anyway. The ideal candidate will have experience in bank reconciliations, and experience working with MS Excel.
Although this is starting as a project, it could keep extending and be something more for the right individual. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating with the various employees in the company to be sure that all of the items for the expense reports are correct and turned in.
