Job Description Job Description Staff Accountant Direct Hire An established firm is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a group of professionals dedicated to maintaining the highest level of financial reporting in accordance with GAPP and IRS requirements. This is a full-time Direct Hire opportunity with excellent benefits.

Duties include assisting in the preparation of vendor payments, tracking recurring payments, and management of all 1099 files. In addition, monitoring electronic payments, reconciliation of accounts payable, and resolution of general ledger discrepancies. This role includes a wide variety of special projects and accounting duties related to the smooth running of the department.

Candidates must have several years in accounting, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, and strong technology skills.
