Staff 1, Associate Engineer - Underfill Professional Engineer

The Position

Staff Associate Engineers perform professional engineering assignments not requiring licensure by the State Board of Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors.

Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.

This posting is for a position in the Minor Source Compliance Branch of the Bureau of Air Pollution Control. This will be used to underfill the Professional Engineer.

Compliance duties include reviewing reports and stack test data from facilities, inspecting facilities and records, communicating with facilities to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, investigating air pollution complaints, and drafting compliance orders to amend permit requirements.
