ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SUPERVISOR

We're looking for a Supervisor to join our Accounts Receivable team. This role provides superior customer and sales service to internal and external customers, manages customer portfolios with focus on company profitability, provides technical support to all Customer Finance (CF) team members, maximizes cash flow, and protects Coty's financial interests.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Leading account collection activity, dispute resolution, and cash forecasting for assigned portfolio to ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines
Leading in the achievement of all departmental goals, including lowering DSO, increasing cash flow, and forecasting cash accurately
Ensuring team members possess comprehensive knowledge and can answer customer/sales questions regarding all A/R and order-to-cash cycle questions
Managing team issues as they escalate and resolve appropriately
Managing day-to-day team operations and activities
Identifying potential process improvements by leading the following Customer Finance activities:
A/R mapping for cash application
Pursuing additional/new EDI transactions
Complete and full understanding of routing guides (lead times and carrier selection)
Cross communication between Customer Finance and Customer Service
Training, mentoring, and development of new employees for success
Rewards & Recognition development and implementation
Developing "best practice" work processes, including Returns and Refusal processes; creates flowcharts and training documents as needed to assist the training team
Leading continuous improvement activities utilizing data analysis and root cause research, (Advance Ship Notice errors, Shortages, cash flow, etc.)
Serving as point person for SAP enhancement/defect meetings, testing.
Supporting activities to correct and resolve interdepartmental process gaps and issues
Supporting business changes / Participate in new business integration teams
Supporting the Department Director and Managers in other activities as needed
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We'd love to see candidates who have:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred) with coursework in Accounting, Business Law and/or Finance or equivalent work experience
ERP reporting experience required (SAP Preferred)
Possess comprehensive knowledge of all steps in the order to cash cycle
1 - 2 years Supervisory experience preferred
Technical Systems Analysis background preferred
Strong Leadership skills
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work independently as well as within teams
Must be self-motivated, possess decision-making abilities, and require little supervision
Be able to handle difficult situations in a professional manner
Be able to quickly address and resolve customer concerns, questions, and disputes
Possess excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Excel and MS Word
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Possess problem solving abilities, with focus on continuous process improvement
