This position is located at 1600 Ely Street, Marinette, WI LM site at the Marinette Marine shipyard supporting the Small Combatant program team currently managing contracts to construct the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and the Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC). The successful applicant will shipyard performance oversite responsibility for the projects assigned reporting to the Program Management Sr Manager.

Depending on the assignments, the applicant will interface with the shipbuilder for schedule and cost management. In addition, responsibilities will include but not be limited to analysis of weekly and monthly cost and schedule performance data to identify variances, perform root cause analysis and develop and track corrective actions.

The successful candidate will support problem identification and resolution efforts to achieve program performance objectives such as trial card closure, technical issues resolution and ship delivery efforts.

Other duties will include schedule accountability, financial and subcontract management. This role also includes responsibility to develop and maintain Program metrics, various business rhythm reports and presentations, coordinate and lead program integration efforts and support the team by maintaining current various internal business management process such as staffing demands. This position will also support development and

finalization of delivery documents including the

delivery Certificate of Conformance lists.

Basic Qualifications

Must possess excellent communication skills both oral

and written.

Ability to interface with government and shipyard personnel on complex technical, financial or programmatic issues.

Ability to distill items to core facts in order to determine solution paths.

Technical background such as Engineering Degree or equivalent experience and demonstrated decision making skills.

Fluent with Earned Value Management (EVMS) with complementary experience.

Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain an Interim / Final DOD Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
