Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator to join our team of qualified diverse individuals in supporting the Navigation, Targeting, and Surveillance Division. This position is located in Rolling Meadows, IL.
Teleworking will be considered for an experienced candidate. In a teleworking situation, the candidate would be expected to be on site approximately 3 - 4 days per month to support program reviews and customer meetings.

Responsibilities include the following:
Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Qualifications for Contract Administrator Level 3: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 6 years previous experience in contracts, subcontracts, finance, or other business management related function or a Master's degree with a minimum 4 years previous experience in contracts, subcontracts, finance, or other business management related function.
Qualifications for Contract Administrator Level 4: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 10 years previous experience in contracts, subcontracts, finance, or other business management related function or a Master's degree with a minimum 8 years previous experience in contracts, subcontracts, finance, or other business management related function.
Experience with FAR / DFARS.
Experience with both US Government and Non-US Government contracting.
Advanced skills using MS Office Suite.
U.S. citizen and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
