Working under minimal supervision of the Sr Director, Microsoft Services, or the Microsoft Services Practice Manager, relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals, the Senior Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect (Sr SA) works as a lead technical pre-sales resource on professional services for Connection's clients around the Microsoft Cloud offerings. The Sr SA provides advanced to master technical design, scope and SOW deliverables for deployment & migration services to Microsoft customers. The customer-facing Architect delivers Microsoft Cloud deployment planning services, technical writing, develops solutions and consults on the most complex Microsoft Cloud deployments. The Architect's primary responsibilities include client interaction, defining and analyzing business and technical needs, solution development, and assisting Sales in closing the SOW deal in a consultative approach.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with ability to create complex spreadsheets using formulas, including v-lookup, and creating pivot tables.
Expert level in MS Visio Diagraming software
Proficient level in utilizing SharePoint technology
Proficient level in development of Product Bill of Materials and basic system designs
Expert level of post-sales installation, configuration, troubleshooting with guidance from senior technical staff
Expert level knowledge. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments (Software/Applications, Server, Storage, Networks, Security, Mobility, Messaging, Enterprise Voice)
Advanced technical knowledge with experience in selling, consulting, remediation, migration and/or deployment in one or more areas such as: Office 365, Exchange, Azure RMS, Skype for Business, SCCM, SharePoint, Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services
Strong understanding of and working knowledge of the value-added technology industry
