What we need:

We are looking for Sr. Information Security Engineer.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for formulating security operation metrics.

  • Perform internal and external vulnerability scanning.

  • Formulate and submit scan reports on a periodic and as needed basis.

  • Discover, and analyze vulnerabilities, develop remediation or mitigation strategies, and escalate security issues to the appropriate internal department for resolution.

  • Supervise vulnerability exception process and facilitate updates among stakeholders.

  • Assist with the design controls to meet compliance and audit requirements such as GLBA and PCI.

  • Work and coordinate with management and department heads across the enterprise.

  • Work to provide organized and risk-based approaches to remediation of sensitive assets across the enterprise

  • Work with various team members to improve corporate system security.

  • Create and maintain documentation.

What you need to have:

  • Advanced knowledge in troubleshooting the following:

  • Proficiency in utilization of information security scanning tools such as Nessus, InsightVM, Metasploit, Nmap, Qualys, Wireshark and other manual techniques to exploit vulnerabilities in OWASP top 10.

  • Candidate should possess an excellent understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite.

  • Candidate should be excellent in understanding common operating systems, network devices, databases, web applications, and their vulnerabilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Detail oriented and organized to accomplished detailed task.

  • Experience with SIEM products such as Splunk, InsightIDR, etc.

  • 5 years of InfoSec experience.

  • Intermediate experience Active Directory logical and topical design principles.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Information Security standards.

  • Analyze data from threat and vulnerability feeds and its applicability to the organization.

  • Communicate best practices in vulnerability management across the enterprise and help create security advisories associated with new and emerging vulnerabilities.

  • Able to write effective communications and documentation in a compliance-regulated environment.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Certification such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, CPT, GPEN, and GWAPT a plus.

  • Web application and source code testing a plus.

  • Experience in the financial industry a plus.
