PURPOSE OF POSITION: Responsible for supporting and promoting the initiatives of the Quality Improvement/Patient Safety Program.
Collect data and prepares reports such as dashboards, incident report summaries, quality and compliance audits, etc.
Assist in preparing materials for meetings.
Serve as recording secretary for the various Quality and compliance meetings. This entails, taking minutes and preparing the packets with the agenda and materials for each meeting. May also perform or assist in the performance of quality and HIPPA- related compliance audits.
Maintain/ update files and spreadsheets related to QI and compliance data and projects. Perform data entry, updates graphs and reports.
Miscellaneous copying and filing.
Keep patient, hospital, and employee information confidential at all times.
All other duties as required and assigned.
Knowledge of Microsoft software products such as Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint. Ability to learn to manage databases and excel spreadsheets and graphs.
High school diploma, required. College degree, desirable.
Must have good organizational skills.
Must communicate professionally and effectively in writing and speaking.
Demonstrated ability to plan and problem solve.
Previous experience in a similar role desired.
