In this role, you will

  • Be accountable for design, architecture, maintenance and production support of our network

  • Generate innovative approaches and solutions to business requirements

  • Manage cross-functional infrastructure projects from inception to deployment

  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation

Desired Skills And Experience

  • 3-5 years of networking experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Mastery of one of the followings; Wireless Integration, Application layer networking.

  • Demonstrated ability to respond to and rectify the most challenging network issues.

  • Understanding of network management fundamentals and corresponding tools.

  • Experience with Linux or other Unix operating systems.

  • Understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps concept

  • Hands on experience and expert certifications with various IT Security safeguard technology

  • Palo Alto, Aruba and Cisco.
  • Ability to implement and support complex solutions across multiple IT disciplines (Network, Systems, ID Management etc.) in the realms of 'people, process and technology'.

  • Hands on experience managing security across various platforms/systems

  • Microsoft Windows, MS AD, Unix-like required; MS SQL, Cache.
  • Experience with implementing and executing standard operating procedures as related to monitoring of IT Security controls/safeguards in place; experience with SOC and SIEM preferred.

  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment utilizing conflict resolution skills when necessary.

  • Knowledge of current common cybersecurity frameworks, standards and best practices. NIST & ISO27k preferred.

  • Exceptional oral/written communication and organizational skills with the ability to effectively present to non-technical staff and management.

  • Ability to generate regular reports and status of the IT Security environment including recommendations for problem resolution and improvement.

  • Experience with vendor management.

  • Experience working with internal and external auditors.

  • Experience with PCI preferred.

  • Understanding of security governance.

Key Areas of Responsibility * Perform client consultation: plan, implement, and maintain wireless LAN/WAN hardware and software using the latest technology, including networks, routers, servers, and systems hardware * Assist in designing servers and networks: analyze business needs and recommend solutions * Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems related to LANs/WANs * Monitor and control infrastructure performance in the areas of response, throughput, and availability * Test LAN/WAN communications and routing products: implement test plans, evaluate test equipment and design test networks, and aid in the development of automated test suites * Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving services' efficiency and effectiveness, keep abreast of technical aspects of the PC-LAN/WAN computing environment, and develop a working knowledge of client-specific applications * Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade telecommunications infrastructures * Create and execute test plans to meet project requirements for assigned components * Identify and communicate potential opportunities for cross-selling to the sales team * Manage time and expense to meet or exceed expectations defined in the Statement of Work * Provide high quality content deliverables using the appropriate document templates * Ensure solution is implemented as designed to the customer's satisfaction and approval Qualifications Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, a related technical degree or equivalent * Three years' experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support Other Required Qualifications * Minimum of three years' experience in network engineering, with some experience designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs using the latest technology; experience must be post-baccalaureate and progressive in nature * Experience with Cisco based wireless site survey, network design, and implementation * Familiarity with Air Magnet or other monitoring solutions * Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs * Ability to effectively communicate with clients * Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment. * Attention to detail on inventory and logistics is important Preferred Qualifications * Consulting experience preferred * Minimum one year of experience in programming or analytical work * CCNA, CCDP, or CCIE certification preferred * Familiarity with Meraki and Aruba * Familiarity with Ekahau tool * Aruba certifications: ACMP, ACDP, ACCP, or ACSP CDW Seattle WA
