SS&C Retirement Solutions is looking for a senior level web designer with experience in creating, and maintaining, functional and attractive websites to join our team. The ideal candidate will have both the design acumen and technical proficiency to bring complex web sites and web applications to life. Successful candidates will be able to translate high-level business requirements into site workflows and user interfaces, and then collaborate with development teams to transform their ideas into intuitive, functional web experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to the HTML/Framework phase and collaborate with development teams for implementation

  • Create user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas for consumption on web and mobile devices

  • Present designs and key deliverables to peers and project stakeholders

  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards including ADA accessibility

  • Assist development and quality assurance teams with accessibility review and remediation

Requirements

  • Work experience as a Web Designer with strong visual design skills and a portfolio to prove it

  • Experience developing user flows, process flows, wire frames, and storyboards

  • Proficiency in Adobe's Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and XD, or other visual wire-framing tools

  • Proficiency in coding HTML, CSS, and scalable frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation

  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

  • Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques and technologies

  • Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design or Visual Arts with an emphasis in web

  • Experience or sensitivity to user-system interaction with regard to accessibility for all users

Our motion control group is seeking a Senior PCB Designer to work closely with hardware design engineers to design circuit boards for new and existing products. The ideal candidate is an expert PCB designer who is known for his or her attention to detail and takes enormous pride in seeing their designs turn into world class products. Responsibilities * Use schematic capture and PCB layout tools to create PCB designs of moderate to high density based on initial schematics and verbal direction from design engineering * Create artwork of highly complex PCBs where design challenges include limitations on space, noise-sensitive circuits, high voltage isolation and thermal management * Create engineering change orders (ECOs) to release or update PCB schematics, artwork, assembly drawings, Bills of Material and component documentation per Analogic revision control and related procedures * Collaborate with Manufacturing and Test engineering during the PCB design process to ensure that PCB designs can be made and tested reliably and cost effectively. Qualifications * BS in a technical discipline or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of high density PCB design experience. Alternatively, 2 years of college in a technical discipline and 7 years related experience, OR 1 year of college in a technical discipline and 9 years related experience OR 11 years related experience. * Strong working knowledge of OrCAD schematic capture and PADS PCB design tools including features used to set up and validate design rules (clearances and connectivity). Recent experience with Allegro PCB Designer is a plus. * Experience designing PCBs for medium to high volume manufacturing with an excellent understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly and test technologies, processes and limitations. * Experience designing compact, mixed signal (analog, high speed digital and power) PCBs * Extremely well organized * Ability to work well with others * Solid verbal and written communication skills * Working knowledge of MS Word Copley Controls is located in Canton, Massachusetts, just 3 miles from routes 93 and 95 and only 20 miles south of Boston's city center.
