Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate levels of stock are held to meet operational and new business demand.

  • Ensure rapid response on requisition orders, stock transfer, assembly, and other work orders.

  • Present and collaborate with Supply Chain leadership, managers, directors, and VPs.

  • Coach and oversight of direct reports for performance, integrity, development, and deliverable's.

  • Train, hire, and develop talent in business processes and communication.

  • Drive trust, efficiency, and accountability across the team.

  • Process order management stock transfers internally between warehouses and plants to maintain appropriate levels of safety stock.

  • In partnership with Inventory team, establish standard operating procedures, policies, training, and procedures to achieve corporate strategic objectives.

  • Interface with internal Supply Chain contacts to ensure alignment.

  • Build high levels of collaboration and trust with businesses globally.

  • Provide technical/professional advice and knowledge to others within the Inventory team.

  • Identify areas of improvement and presents findings and recommendations to Director level leadership.

Requirements

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in an Inventory Management leadership role within a distribution environment.

  • BS degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.

  • Experience in power industry preferred.

  • Excellent leadership, management, motivation and communication skills. Strong ability to influence others and drive change without direct ownership.

  • Inventory management analysis skills and IM system knowledge.

  • Team Development, KPI Metric Development, Budget Tracking and Project Management experience

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for managing the specialized IT professionals who design, develop, maintain, and support data warehousing and data mart technologies and systems. Leads the activities of data warehouse project teams in the design, development and implementation of data warehouses; and the configuration and auditing of data warehouses to ensure quality control of data. Responsible for overseeing the development, operations and maintenance of data warehouse environment, including architecture between front-end desktop/client environment and data warehouse back-end processing functions. Applies industry standard BI / DW practices to address client data, management and analysis objectives. Experience with appropriate leveraging design and implmentation approaches with data modeling, reporting and build outs. Provides guidance regarding the use of data warehouse systems, capability of systems to deliver information, and subject matter expertise regarding current systems and emerging technology. Provides technical recommendations for optimized data access and retention for the data warehouse. Provides oversight support to the design, development and QA teams. Defines areas of improvement to optimize data flows. JOB REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent, relevant work experience * 15 years of directly-related work experience.
