AWS Training and Certification (T&C) is seeking an experienced and creative UX Writer to join us as we transform the user experience of the AWS digital learning platform.

AWS T&C helps individuals and businesses build and validate their cloud skills through classroom and on-demand training. As part of the UX Research and Design team, the UX Writer will create copy for our leaning platform that simultaneously helps and delights our users. They will collaborate with designers, user researchers, product managers, engineers, and T&C stakeholders, and participate in the product planning, design and development lifecycle. Our voice and tone is conversational, informal, and always professional, and we want to speak to our customers as their trusted advisor. The UX Writer will advocate for language and writing excellence, and will own quality and execution.


  • Create copy within products and on web experiences and flows.

  • Create and maintain guidelines and style gides that include tone of voice.

  • Develop UI content strategy.

  • Work with business stakeholders including content, programs, marketing, legal, and support to ensure your copy and strategy align with T&C brand and positioning.

  • Apply data from user research, user testing, and web analytics to experiment, and iterate on UI content.

  • Understand key product strategy metrics and tie them into your content strategy

  • Develop and/or own special projects requiring editorial and copywriting expertise including team communications and internal marketing collateral
