Description Come join our Buy With Prime team If you are a Sr. UX Researcher passionate about retail experiences and identifying patterns and solving complex problems, this is the team for you.

In this role, you will lead UX Research for this emerging product to be impactful and deliver a customer obsessed experience. You will partner with product, design, and engineering to develop experiences and services that are delightful. You will work with leadership in design and product planning and goal creation.

Key job responsibilities Chart a course for yourself and others in ambiguous situations. Mentor and develop designers within your own organization and beyond on research best-practices. Define the long-term vision, strategy, and goals for UX research.

Create, prioritize, plan, and execute research roadmap in alignment with product goals. Select and develop a broad range of methods to discover customer challenges, opportunities, and make recommendations. Triangulate qualitative research data with available metrics to deepen the understanding of the customer experience.

Deliver research insights to support strategic decision making. Create repeatable and scalable mechanisms to evaluate from a holistic customer perspective. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers on ways to improve the customer experience based on the results of your research.

Buy with Prime is an exciting next step in our mission to help merchants of all sizes grow their business—whether on Amazon or beyond. Basic Qualifications 8 years proven success leading UX research projects with demonstrated impact. - Portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, recommendations). 5 years managing all stages of research design and execution (study design, test creation, moderation, analysis, reporting). 5 years with research methods including: field research, usability, focus groups, survey design, and data analysis. BS in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Human Computer Design Engineering or related discipline.

Preferred qualifications Fluency in the latest research methods and practices including the latest human-centered principles and techniques.

Experience working with customers and teams to develop a deep understanding of the customer problems and pain points. Ability to proactively lead complex research and synthesize pain points into valuable insights that deliver customer-obsessed results.

Proven effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to influence the customer experience and deliver results.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to present research concepts and insights clearly and persuasively across different audiences at varying levels of the organization. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $226,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
