As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our software solution. Leveraging your expertise in MedTech, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall usability and efficiency of Elucid's product.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the creation and design of seamless, user-friendly and intuitive web interfaces, reports and other artifacts with an emphasis on consistency.

• Advocate for user-centered design solutions.

• Propose creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability).

• Lead design thinking sessions with our in-house clinical experts, customers both internal and external, engineering, and other stakeholders.

• Conduct user research to discover insights, define user personas and map user journeys. Perform usability testing on interactive prototypes to gather valuable user feedback and insights.

• Track user experience metrics and reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics.

• Actively collaborate as a member of a cross-functional, agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately.

• Some travel may be required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• 5+ years of design and related experience in the MedTech space.

• A portfolio showcasing refined visual, user interface, and experience design work.

• Ability to lead the planning of user research and usability testing to synthesize data into actionable design insights.

• Extensive experience with product design/agile software tools, methodologies and best practices (Figma or similar, Jira, Confluence).

• Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory framework for product approvals. Ability to document design rationale to support regulatory submissions.

• Experience having conducted Formative/Summative Usability Testing with documentation for regulatory requirements.

• Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment and to work independently as an active member of a team.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with Product and Engineering teams to make product visions come to life.

• Strong self-management, organizational and critical thinking skills.

Elucid is a hybrid workplace with a strong preference for candidates to live in the greater Boston area. Boston-based employees are strongly encouraged to be in the office on Monday and Wednesday, at a minimum. The office is open 5 days a week for those who prefer to be in person.
