This Sr. UX Designer will be responsible for:

  • Designing the End User Experience of Hospital applications ensuring ease of use, perception of value, utility and efficiency of tasks.

  • Understanding human behavior and is the technical expert in the analysis and design of applications.

  • Translating user needs and business requirements into features and functionality for web/mobile experiences.

  • Developing process flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies.

  • Analyzing end-user and system requirements needs, motivations and behaviors, then translates them into engaging experiences; studies how clinical and consumer users access content/tools, including data categorization and labeling.

  • Planning information architecture through analysis of the strategy, solution objectives, and target audience; envisions architectural scheme, information structure and features, functionality, and user-interface design.

  • Preparing interaction models including the design of information structure, work-and dataflow, and navigation; evaluates information representation; conducts review meetings.

  • Creating wireframes, journey maps, workflows, storyboards, clickable prototypes, and other visual storytelling assets to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies.

  • Working within a cross functional team of strategists, healthcare SMEs, product and project managers, and application developers.

  • Leading group design sessions with cross-functional groups including resources in IDHA, the larger hospital, and on portfolio company teams.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Interaction Design, or other related design fields.

  • 10 years' experience in User Experience Design, Visual Design, and/or Information Architecture.

  • Experience with an Agile/SCRUM team preferred.
