Join our team of world-class User Experience (UX) and Visual Designers, defining the future of cyber security products and services. This role is a key part of a team delivering user-centric next generation security products.
As Senior UX Designer, you'll be engaged in a variety of activities throughout the product development lifecycle, always bringing focus back to the user. You'll operate as part of a global team, representing UX efforts in our Minneapolis office; collaborating with product team peers on everything from whiteboarding concepts to wireframing and usability testing. As part of the UX team, you'll have the opportunity to help shape a user-centric culture and systems thinking within our product development teams.
Conducting a full range of UX activities for current and new products and services
User research, including customer discovery sessions, usability planning and testing
Sketching and wireframing in collaborative whiteboarding sessions
Participating in heuristic evaluations and ethnographic studies
Collaboration across product and engineering disciplines
Conceptualize short-term needs as well as big-picture vision
Identify, empathize, and articulate user needs
Thorough understanding of user-centered methods and associated deliverables
Strong communication skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in the field of Cognitive Science, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Interactive Design or similar, or equivalent work experience
6 years industry work experience in a UX-related role, or advanced degree
Experience interviewing users for the purposes of informing a design process
Experience designing information architectures or diagramming site navigation
Experience using Sketch, Invision, Axure, Omnigraffle, Visio, or similar
Have participated in a full product cycle, seeing your work through from concept to launch
Experience writing high quality, structured reports and papers
Ability to present ideas and concepts to internal stakeholders and customers
Strong written and verbal English language skills
Prior work experience with Enterprise products
Computer Science knowledge, with security and/or networking products is a plus
Prior experience as a Senior or Lead UX Designer across multiple products.
Familiarity with CSS, React.js, and front end technologies
Low-fidelity & high-fidelity prototyping
Familiarity with Design Systems
Familiarity with Agile methodology, including creation of user stories
