Nemours is seeking a Sr UNIX Systems Administrator (Full-Time), to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Senior UNIX System Administrator position is a technical leadership role for midrange team and is responsible for administrating and managing all UNIX/Linux systems, SAN/NAS Storage, Spectrum Protetc Backup software and/or other system midrange operations. This position will require an in-depth technical knowledge of AIX systems and RedHat Linux to facilitate the install and management of the core operating system as well as the analysis and resolution of system hardware, software and networking issues.

In addition this position will define project requirements, estimate project tasks, and provide industry knowledge in performing basic and advanced tasks associated with administration responsibilities. The Senior UNIX System Administrator will provide high-level input to any system architecture changes, security changes, applying security updates and support to application teams with items such as patch management, installation, and support of the applications with their respective vendors.

  • Install, support, and manage enterprise AIX systems, Linux, storage area networks (SANs), SAN network communications and Backup Software (Spectrum Protect).

  • Design, develop, and install scripts to alert and monitor for system errors, exceptions, system performance history, and general systems maintenance.

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support associated with the enterprise midrange environment.

  • Make recommendations for upgrades and/or new server hardware, peripherals, operating systems.

  • Provide documentation to users and Service Desk staff prior to implementation of newly installed products.

  • Assist with establishing policies and procedures necessary for optimal system operations. These should include: the accuracy and integrity of system backups; automation of manual and routine operations; ensuring conformance with Information Systems, enterprise, security, and industry standards.

  • Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.

  • Provide proactive communication with customers and vendors to ensure operating system levels and system level patches or upgrades are applied to minimize performance and availability issues.

  • Provide effective capacity planning via standardized processes to collect and record server performance history. Communicate with application support and vendors to understand changes in application workloads and leverage historical performance data.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five (5)+ years experience in a related field required OR minimum of ten (10)+ years' experience required in lieu of degree.

  • Excellent team, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Must be able to coach junior team members

  • Clear, analytical thinking and problem solving ability.

The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally. They will own and develop quantitative risk framework and associated risk analytics to optimize acquisition underwriting and ECM strategies for Branded cards portfolio. Leverage external credit bureaus & internal Citi data to formulate objectives, develop analytical solutions, and perform statistical analyses using CHAID and other advanced segmentation techniques to identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect these results Additional Responsibilities: o Develop and test experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods to identify underserved segments within risk appetite boundaries and prepare the test data for processing by organizing information, checking for any inaccuracies, and adjusting / weighting the raw test results to design credit policies while balancing risk and return. o Evaluate, implement and monitor sophisticated leading edge analytic tools such as machine learning models in the underwriting and ECM process o Evaluate and make business case for usage of non-traditional data sources in credit decisioning process o Create management reporting for Senior Leadership using Business Intelligence tools like Cognos, Tableau to monitor and report the results of statistical analyses. o Analyze portfolio performance at a granular segment level on an ongoing basis. Identify trends and conduct data driven root-cause-analysis using SAS and SQL to isolate key performance drivers. o Communicate policy changes and test recommendations, program approvals, performance trends with business partners, senior management and external regulators. o Collaborate with Marketing, product, Finance, and Legal to drive new projects including new product launch, enhanced tech capabilities, improving business profitability o Lead multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously through effective project management. Create, update, and track project plans for multiple deliverable. o Communicate clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audience.
