This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding their annual goals for their designated market. This includes planning and executing the sales budget and developing strong working relationships with line partners.
Develops annual sales strategy and plan to achieve goals that include new sales, cross-sell and retention goals. Ensures the effective implementation of the sales plan and alignment with overall Treasury Management budget process and goals.
Serves as primary contact and expert, representing market area for other lines of business (Commercial and Business Banking). Attends team meetings, provides education, communicates changes and works closely with all lines to help cross sell cash management services and to help manage the existing customer base.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of all Cash Management products currently offered by the bank and the current and upcoming needs of our customers that will drive enhancements to existing product offerings and establishment of new products and services.
Manages a portfolio of Commercial Banking customers whose needs are extensive and complex due to the customer relationship, nature of the business and products or size of the loan.
Manages the overall Request for Proposal Process in their respective market to ensure the greatest opportunity of success. Determines acceptable requests and negotiates rates and fees. Ensures information provided is accurate and comprehensive.
Keeps informed of current developments through participation in treasury, payments, and business services forums and industry conferences, trade functions, as well as industry networking events.
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
College degree or equivalent experience required.
7-10 years relevant experience.
Theoretical and practical expertise in Federal Reserve regulations, policies and procedures, check processing, float and availability.
