About this role:
Vantedge is currently seeking exceptional Treasury Analyst candidates. The Treasury Analyst will have broad leadership responsibilities including managing cash and treasury operations, working capital optimization, liquidity forecasting and various projects / initiatives across the finance organization. The Treasury Analyst collaborates with the Finance and Accounting teams, as well as internal stakeholders across Vantedge's four business units and is based in Rosemont, Illinois. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, a successful candidate will be an upwardly mobile, self-starter with experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead all cash management and liquidity activities, debt compliance, intercompany funding, and cash flow forecasting
Oversees credit administration, lender compliance requirements
Administration of business insurance programs
Drive Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash improvement initiatives, setting collection/payment terms expectations and leading standardization and optimization.
Improve & streamline cash forecasting and modeling capabilities to support short-term and long-term liquidity needs
Coordinate with FP&A team on three-statement financial modeling and budgeting
Oversee treasury reporting requirements and bank reporting to senior management, and other internal stakeholders
Identify and implement opportunities to optimize / automate processes and improve internal controls
Assist with bank relations, including fee negotiations, contracts, pricing, fee analysis and cash management interfaces
Perform, monitor, and track various compliance and covenant reporting requirements of existing credit facilities
Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate
Researches economic trends and investment opportunities
Determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections
Partner with internal and external audit teams to execute all internal and external Treasury department related audits
Provide insight on evaluating and implementing new bank technologies, products, and services to improve working capital and streamline company operations
Support M&A initiatives including acquisition funding, pre-deal diligence and post-deal integration
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or MBA, CFA
Minimum 3 years of experience in Treasury, with knowledge of best practices in AR, AP, and cash management
Ability to 'connect the dots', gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and overcoming data gaps to drive solutions
Experience with investment banking, turnaround consulting, or private equity will be considered
Advanced Microsoft Excel & analytical skills, experience building and enhancing financial models
Strong technical accounting skills & knowledge of GAAP
Highly motivated and has an ownership mentality (internal locus of control), as this role is expected to develop into other opportunities within the organization.
