Job Description Sr. Tool and Die Maker (Full Time) Department:

All Openings, Manufacturing - Experienced JOB DESCRIPTION: Tool and Die Maker •Responsible for assisting the Supervisor and Lead in the fabrication of high-quality tooling for the forming of aircraft parts following Piper Drawings, Process Specifications (PPS) and other manufacturing instructions. Assists in meeting or exceeding planned production and delivery schedules while maximizing company resources to achieve company goals. • Essential Job Functions:

Serves as lead with the ability to guide and willingness to receive and share practical knowledge, train, and mentor teammates within career path to perform necessary job functions and requirements in order to attain satisfactory levels of performance and production effectivity. Adhere, maintain and assist teammates within career path to all departmental compliance requirements such as Safety, Environmental Protection, FOD and Tool Control, 5S and other assigned programs. Fabricate and assemble all complex/intricate form blocks, form dies, blank and pierce dies, progressive dies, press brake dies, stretch dies, and hydro form blocks according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Lead tooling projects from concept to completion, including design, fabrication, and testing. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in tooling technologies and make recommendations for adoption. Assists with developing continuous improvement efforts to enhance the team's performance including schedule delivery performance, reduction of late work, elimination of quality defects & scrap, productivity improvement initiatives and cost reductions.

Assists with data collection, review and report generation. Perform duties of lower graded position within Career Path and other duties as assigned. Minimum Position Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Export Control Compliance requirements (ITAR), therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is preferred. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.

Related Tool and Die Experience Requirements: o Tool and Die Maker I: ≤ 3 years of experience o Tool and Die Maker II: 3 - 5 years of experience o Senior Tool and Die Maker: ≥ 5 years of experience o Demonstrated verifiable competency through assignment of tasks and duties directly related to the position, confirming knowledge, skills and abilities in lieu of experience.
