Sr. Test Engineer

The L3 Interstate Electronics Corporation Division was founded in 1956 and for over 60 years IEC has played a key role in the most successful defense system of modern history. Headquartered in Anaheim, CA, IEC is a recognized industry leader in defense and security solutions, providing critical technology advancements in the areas of GPS/ Position Navigation and Timing, and Range and Test Solutions.
Under minimal supervision, will develop, implement, debug, and execute test software for GPS receivers. Implement Satellite Simulator test scenarios.
Developing and implementing test cases, test procedures and test scripts based on project requirements
Performing execution of real time testing of hardware/software systems
Evaluating results against pass / fail requirements
Performing post-test data analysis
Developing best test practices and improvements to the L3 test enterprise
Growing into a Subject Matter Expert for test on assigned projects

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years' experience with test engineering processes and methodology
Real time hardware/software integration and time/event sequencing processes
Software development in C#, and/or Python languages
Familiarity with Information Security, GPS, or cryptography desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication required.
Demonstrated experience interacting with other engineering disciplines including design, systems, and software engineering functions.
Capable of working in a team environment with the ability to work independently under general supervision
Some weekends and evenings will be required.
