The primary responsibility of the Senior Technician, RF Test is to assist in maintaining a highly efficient, productive, safe, engineering lab environment. The Senior Technician will provide support in maintaining lab inventory, ordering lab supplies; ensuring equipment is functioning properly and is calibrated. In addition, the candidate will assist in the construction of custom test systems, and bench setups
Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
Ensure laboratory readiness in support of all product development activities.
Manage test equipment calibration and repair services and schedules.
Performing setup, calibration, verification, and maintenance of automated test stations.
Manage inventory and acquisition of laboratory supplies.
Assist in construction and testing of custom test systems.
Measurement data collection and reporting for products in development
Helping to create a highly efficient and productive lab environment

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)
Minimum of 5 years related experience in an RF product development laboratory environment Demonstrated RF test and measurement skills
Experience working with test and diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, oscilloscopes, DMMs, vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and signal generators
Proficiency in troubleshooting at the system, PCB, and component levels
Enjoy hands-on work and exhibit a high mechanical aptitude and ability to solder
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and understand schematics
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient with MS office suite.
Semiconductor Industry Experience
Software/Programing experience: C/C++/C#, MatLab and NI LabView
RF Characterization Experience
This job operates in a lab environment. This role routinely uses standard office and equipment.
