As a member of the Global Customer Experience team you will collaborate with cross-functional teams on the concepting, delivery and maintenance of global and locale-specific commerce experiences across web, mobile, and voice platforms. We have expertise in research, visual and user experience design, and technical writing, with backgrounds in a variety of verticals and businesses including healthcare, fintech, advertising, big-box retail, entertainment, and design consulting.
About the position:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Writer to focus on the design, deployment, maintenance and optimization of Amazon Pay experiences for our global developer and merchant constituencies. Your exceptional narrative and documentation skills will allow you to deliver these experiences in the most elegant and efficient way possible. To accomplish this, you will be responsible for evaluating our current integration experiences in partnership with our solutions architects and other business stakeholders, with an emphasis on developing modular, configurable integrations that set the stage for global scale.

Want direct and material interactions with our developers and merchants through participation in generative and evaluative research, experimentation, and UAT, resulting in measurable product improvements over time.
Exhibit excellent skills in writing about complex technical and business subjects to a variety of audiences, with an emphasis on developers and merchants.
Have substantial experience writing and editing UX and technical content in a similar role, as demonstrated in both writing samples and in a writing test.
Are comfortable with working independently while meeting stakeholder deadlines to support global launch variables.
Enjoy contributing to a global team environment that includes designers, product managers, account managers, solutions architects, localization managers, and support engineers.
Are able to parse business processes, requirements, and existing project documentation to determine what needs to be communicated and when.
Are inclined to learn more about and acquire deeper understanding of your developer constituency no matter the role in the integration process, from presales to maintenance to making running changes to existing code.
