Our recruiting team is small, focused, and works across all functions at View. We need you to discover and shepherd excellent technical candidates through the recruiting process, source and headhunt for specific roles, dig into referral networks, and develop View's presence at local events. You will work closely with the rest of the HR team, and build your own unique relationships with hiring managers and employees. You will grow tremendously as our team and our company scales.

The right person will be a true geek at heart, who understands the curiosity that motivates and captivates engineers. If you're organized, focused, and passionate about connecting engineers to meaningful work, we want you to join our team as a Technical Recruiter.


  • Source, interview, and hire the best candidates for our engineering, IT and other groups.

  • Full cycle technical recruiting (from sourcing candidates to negotiating offers)

  • Demonstrable track record of successfully recruiting high caliber engineers

  • Identify and prioritize recruiting sources and networks and build pipeline of candidates

  • Work closely with engineers across a broad range of disciplines (hardware, software, materials)

  • Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and specifications

  • Quickly prioritize and organize your time to get things done often under deadlines

  • Utilize data and metrics to track results and optimize process

  • Passionate about communicating with people across a wide variety of backgrounds


  • Familiarity with Jobvite (ATS) and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook for scheduling meetings

  • Experience in high-growth startup environments

  • Creative thinker who can generate innovative recruiting strategies

  • Engineering background with successfully hiring top engineering candidates

  • 5+ years minimum experience in Technical Recruiting

  • BS in Engineering/ or BA in Business Management

This role will lead, design, and implement innovative recruiting strategies to support staffing needs. Source, attract, screen, and present qualified talent to assigned requisitions. Develop and implement strategic recruiting strategies and campaigns using a diverse sourcing strategy to include social media, job boards, data mining techniques, referrals and networking to build and increase talent pipelines. Responsibilities * Independently conducts candidate searches from a variety of sources. Assesses applicant skills and accurately represents the Company's business environment and culture to applicants. Sources, screens and presents qualified candidates to the hiring manager. * Establish and maintain strong partnerships with HRBPs, key functional leaders, and Hiring Managers in order to forecast current and future recruitment needs and develop cost effective recruiting strategies that support business objectives. Work together to identify ideal skill set and experience required to attract top talent for current and future positions. * Design, build, and implement innovative recruitment strategies to proactively build pipelines of qualified talent while ensuring a positive and consistent branded experience * Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers and human resources business partners. Proactively inform client throughout the talent acquisition process. * Drive the entire interview process of each candidate from presentation to hiring manager through offer negotiations; determine fit and qualifications of all candidates presented. Consult with hiring managers on evaluation and selection of final candidates. Updates and maintains the applicant tracking system and other systems of record. * Advise, educate and influence hiring managers on candidate skill sets, recruiting process, strategy and market conditions. * Ensure positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process; effectively communicating and managing candidate and hiring manager expectations, timely and appropriate responsiveness to candidate and hiring manager expectations, and timely feedback to candidates at all stages of the selection process. * Develop strong understanding of the business and functions.
