Sr. Technical Professional-Maintenance & Reliability
Role and Responsibilities:
This position supports the F/A-18 & EA-18G Maintenance Readiness Team (MRT/FST). Candidate will assist in the management of F/18 A-D High Flight Hour (HFH) and Integrated Maintenance Concept (IMC) programs. Candidate will be assigned to assist MAG-11 and attached squadrons with the execution of HFH related management and liaison functions as needed to ensure efficient and expeditious completion of service life events.
Assist with the smooth execution of reoccurring High Flight Hour inspections and 1000 hour (9K) events.
Provide support to Periodic Maintenance Interval events in support of current Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) initiatives.
Ensure pertinent HFH aircraft records are updated and maintained IAW CNAF 4790.2 (Series).
Screen Aircraft Log Books to identify HFH recurring inspection applicability. Conduct training and stress the importance of matching the Phase Inspection cycle to the correct HFH flight hour based inspection periodicity to eliminate unnecessary aircraft down time.
Collect, collate and compile relevant data from various NAVAIR "O, I & D" level sources (DECKPLATE, JDRS, ADCS, MRO, etc.) and provide perform pertinent data analysis in support of F/A-18 A-D current Service Life Extension Authorizations (SLEA).
Provide reports/recommendations in coordination with customer requirements to reduce HFH event data processing procedures and improve aircraft Out of Reporting (OOR) scenarios that support USMC/USN Ready Based Asset (RBA) goals.
Assist in the coordination of aircraft service life event planning and process execution for efficient and effective completion of work and expeditious return to flight status.
Candidate must have strong teamwork, communication and management skills.
Create/produce high level presentations, reports, publications, and point papers.
Participate in NAVAIR Reliability Control Board projects
Must have superb F/18 Naval Aviation maintenance knowledge.
Minimum of 8 years Naval Aviation Maintenance experience desired.
Excellent analytical, writing, and editing skills to produce presentations, reports, publications, and point papers.
Exemplary F/18 Naval Aviation maintenance knowledge.
Be familiar with USMC/USN programs and NAVAIR data source applications.
Must be familiar with USMC/USN programs and NAVAIR data source applications.
CNAF 4790 and F/18 IETM experience required.
Advanced Microsoft product experience a plus.
