Technical Product Owners will lead the efforts focused on developing next generation IoT and Big Data platform capabilities. You will develop and communicate a vision for bleeding edge technologies that solve customer problems, work backwards from customer needs to define and execute on product roadmaps, communicate clearly and with data, and prioritize effectively.

You will partner with teams across Honeywell Connected Enterprise and engage deeply with the senior leadership, customer and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, execution and team charter to drive adoption and competitive edge

  • Set and own the goals. Define metrics and key performance indicators

  • Build and own scalable partnership programs for third-party vendors

  • Partner, build relationships and deliver results in cross-group environment to define and drive go-to-market activities

  • Identify innovative opportunities for and define and own a roadmap for other services to be built.

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering
  • 3+ years in gathering customer requirements
  • 3+ years delivering technical requirements


  • People who are passionate about technology

  • Big Data experience

  • Experience and/or knowledge in IoT

  • Experience in software development and/or engineering background

  • Quickly identifies patterns among problems & issues

  • Makes timely decisions balancing systematic analysis

  • Some experience in product or strategic marketing

  • Decisive and logical at thoroughly evaluating issue

  • Excellent planning, execution and project-management skill

  • Experience & ability to apply to product line

  • Demonstrate ability to develop product strategy, roadmaps and track record of delivering

results for customers

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with requirement management, owning, developing, grooming and prioritizing

product backlogs

The candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of customer experience testing to assess the System/solution can support day-to-day business and use scenarios from the perspective of a customer. The candidate may also be required to define and/or develop test software and scripts to perform these tests within the warehouse management system domain. The position requires the candidate to interface cross-functionally with other departments. The position requires effective communication skills (especially written) and good problem solving skills. The position requires the candidate to be results oriented with the resolve for a high degree of quality. Some travel may be required. Position Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of software quality engineering for a given project including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, mitigating open software quality risks prior to launch and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met Participate in all phases of the software quality engineering lifecycle including maintaining and improving the quality of software releases and reducing overall software qualification cycle time Ensure proper execution of test procedures and automated test suites and scripts against requirements with evidence that a solution works for the user Collaborate with software development and product management to analyze product requirements and support/develop effectual customer experience plan Support user-experience based test trials focusing on end-user experience Drive corrective actions to improve software development processes 25 Experience leading UAT sessions 25 Cloud Container technology (Kubernetes, Docker) 25 WMS 25 HTML5 and React framework YOU MUST HAVE * BS or MS degree in a technical discipline. Extensive work history and experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree. * 2+ years of experience with WMS * Hands-On experience with configuring & validating Receiving & Shipping flows in WMS * Experience working within in a Warehouse/DC will be preferred. * Must be familiar with software development lifecycle, standard concepts, practices, and procedures for developing and testing business applications in a complex and dynamic operations environment. * Extensive experience reviewing requirements and solution designs and creating test plans for manual and automated testing. * Experience designing and writing automated test scripts in Java. * Experience leading UAT sessions, as well as defect and status reporting. * Experience on Agile teams, participating in UAT sessions, defect and status reporting. * Experience in reading test plans and creating test scripts from the plan. * Extensive experience providing test coverage and status reporting, defect reports and trends. * Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills required. * Self-starter. Works independently with minimal supervision. * Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills a plus.
