Location: This position is virtual within the US, with travel up to 50% in the U.S., Canada and Mexico
Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join the Global Platform and Technical Services (GPTS) team in Customer Success where the core focus is to ensure customers realize value from their Blue Yonder solutions. The Sr Technical Architect for Global Platform Technical Services is a customer-facing position within the Professional Services department. The GPTS Team is a global, horizontal team, on the leading edge of the product and integration strategy at Blue Yonder. This is part of the cognitive platform/platform data cloud area with some of the newest features coming out of the product development organization.
The Technical Architect will lead the technical design of a customer's integration solution, working from the perspective of both functional and technical stakeholders. In this customer-facing role, they work with other partners and internal solution and technical architects to understand data and integration needs to enable business solutions. They serves as an integration liaison contributing to communications between project managers, key customer contacts, and IT, up to and including executive project sponsors. The Technical Architect understands how Blue Yonder integration solutions can be configured and delivered to better support functional and technical requirements.
Scope:
Core responsibilities include working directly with customers to understand the functional and technical needs of the customer and design integration solutions to meet those needs, as well as helping customers to understand how to integration with Blue Yonder.
In this role, you will facilitate technical design workshops and design best in class solutions using services and enterprise integration patterns.
What you'll do:
Drive the design, optimization and implementation of Blue Yonder technical solutions for customers, utilizing leading practices and process methodologies. Provide visibility to technical workstream tasks and timelines
Serve as an technical owner attending and contributing to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors
Conduct integration analysis sessions with clients and/or the project team to understand data integration needs and develop integration solutions to support the requirements
Provide variety of support to the project team, including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, batch operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing and programming
Interact with Product Management and Product Development Teams regarding new releases and features, act as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team
Work with Support Services team to make Customer stable post go-live and venture towards value realization
Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to steady team associates
Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and technical requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfaction
Assess integration needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmaps
Volunteer for new challenges and eager to learn and challenge himself for new tasks as well build a network outside the immediate team and encourage an atmosphere where team can thrive
What we are looking for:
Experience implementing and leading the technical workstream on external customer projects, with at least 5 full cycle implementations in a technical role
6-10 years of relevant industry background with demonstrable experience in enterprise level service configuration, deployments and integration patterns
Experience with Blue Yonder Retail Planning applications is nice to have (i.e. Enterprise Planning, CatMan, Allocation, Clustering)
Strong customer facing skills and communication skills (verbal and written)
Self-motivated, strong initiative, strong sense of ownership, ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline strongly preferred
Technical background with experience in installing, tuning, and deploying services on Linux and/or Windows environments
Experience programming with PL/SQL, T-SQL, Python, PowerShell, shell scripting, Rest API
Demonstrated strong knowledge of:
Enterprise integration patterns
Data modeling concepts
Service oriented and microservices architecture patterns
Deploying, configuring and testing services
Rest APIs
Preferable strong knowledge of:
Azure architecture
Event-driven architecture
Blue Yonder business applications in Retail Planning
Issue & tracking tools like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira

The salary range for this position is $114,104 - $143,896 USD
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
