Sr. Tax & Treasury Manager

Position Summary

The Sr. Tax and Treasury Manager will assist worldwide income tax provision & accounting, tax process improvements, and other special projects as well as treasury daily operation. You will also be a part of identifying, designing and implementing process improvements for effective tax rate forecast, internal reporting, and all tax areas. The manager will also assist a corporate treasury to shape, develop and oversee the Corporate Treasury function and partner with business to support growth and expansion

The ideal candidate will have a strong initiative to identify opportunities for improvement as well as design and implement those improvements. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work with a broad range of people with different backgrounds and perspectives, as well the ability to working with people in other functions or external to the company.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

• Assist the worldwide income tax provision process, and tax forecast & planning including SEC filing.

• Manage the process for documentation of tax policies, procedures and process controls in compliance with SOX 404 requirements Identify, design and implement process improvements for efficient and effective tax reporting and planning including Stock Base Compensation.

• Manage and assist with U.S. federal and state tax audits & all controversy issues.

• Support the federal income, indirect, other tax compliance function, including but not limited to assistance with the preparation.

• Provide support in tax compliance matters including state income taxes, sales and use tax, property tax

• Assist all aspects of the Company's worldwide tax accounting.

• Assist and support special tax projects regarding all aspects of taxation

• Manage the quarterly review, interim and year-end audit, and tax requirements related to R&D-associated activities; drive closure of any internal/ external request/open items on a timely basis

• Assist the Controller and other members of the accounting team on ad hoc projects, as needed

• Lead day-to-day corporate cash management operations

• Coordinate daily liquidity needs

• Work with third party investment manager to maximize investment income and prepare investment analyses and prepares its related accounting

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience

• BS/BA degree in Accounting/Business or related field; tax knowledge a plus

• 10+ years of related experience

• Exceptional data management skills and project management skills

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Treasury experience is preferable but not must.

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver on tight timelines

The target salary range for this temporary role is $90.00 to $110.00/hour. As a temporary employee, you are not eligible benefits and paid time off. Structure Therapeutics determines salary ranges based on level and scope of responsibilities, as well as location. Individual pay is further determined by additional factors, including relevant experience, specific job skills, education and training.
