General Job Description: Our client is seeking a Senior Manager of Tax Compliance to join their team and oversee the accurate preparation and filing of state and federal tax forms. This transformative role involves managing the tax team, creating and executing tax plans, and collaborating closely with the accounting and leadership teams to identify process improvements and mitigate potential risks. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring compliance by optimizing reporting procedures and driving the tax team's performance. Monitoring changes in tax regulations and updating policies accordingly will be essential, as well as implementing systems and controls to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting in adherence with state, federal, and local laws. This position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to the organization's success and growth in the tax compliance landscape.

Job Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA license) is highly preferred OR progress to CPA required

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance is required

• 5+ years of work experience in insurance tax return preparation

• Demonstrated leadership experience

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
