Job Summary: This strategic position will focus on the understanding of the organizational business needs. It will be responsible for the creation and implementation of recruitment strategies and will partner with the hiring managers to support all hiring initiatives. Ensures talent pipelines are developed proactively and include diverse candidates to provide full cycle support by using enhanced social media sourcing, prescreening, interviewing and collaborative recommendations of high quality candidates.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drives the recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interviewing and advising in the selection of final candidates for assigned client groups. Participates in the negotiation of offers. Follows all regulations and BIDMC hiring policies and guidelines and ensures new hire paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner for all hires.

  • Understand the market intelligence as well as the labor pool to better provide overall competitive compensation strategies to the stakeholders when identifying talent.

  • Ensure vacancy management is properly maintained for reporting purposes. Develop an understanding of the assigned functional areas' talent needs and develop talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire best-in class talent.

  • Establish, build and maintain strong and effective relationships and partnerships with hiring managers and cross collaborative leaders within various client groups.

  • Actively ensures the quality and effectiveness of staffing activities for designated client areas; educates managers on the hiring process and tools; recommends and implements process improvements as needed and serves as a leader on projects, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 5-8 years related work experience required.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in high volume recruiting.

  • General knowledge of current employment laws and practices.

  • Effective utilization of a variety of assessment skills including pre-employment assessments, resume review, behavioral interviewing and reference screening. Proven ability to appropriately assess and maintain discretion in confidential situations.

  • Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.


  • Decision Making: Ability to make decisions that are guided by general instructions and practices requiring some interpretation. May make recommendations for solving problems of moderate complexity and importance.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to address problems that are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using direct observation, knowledge and skills based on general precedents.

  • Independence of Action: Ability to follow precedents and procedures. May set priorities and organize work within general guidelines. Seeks assistance when confronted with difficult and/or unpredictable situations. Work progress is monitored by supervisor/manager.

  • Written Communications: Ability to summarize and communicate in English moderately complex information in varied written formats to internal and external customers.

  • Oral Communications: Ability to comprehend and communicate complex verbal information in English to medical center staff, patients, families and external customers.

  • Knowledge:
    Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of concepts, practices and policies with the ability to use them in complex varied situations.

  • Team Work: Ability to act as a team leader for small projects or work groups, creating a collaborative and respectful team environment and improving workflows. Results may impact the operations of one or more departments.

  • Customer Service: Ability to provide a high level of customer service and staff training to meet customer service standards and expectations for the assigned unit(s). Resolves service issues in the assigned unit(s) in a timely and respectful manner.

The Role The Recruiter will act as a talent advisor to hiring managers in multiple Iora markets to manage all full-cycle recruiting activities. The Recruiter will be part of the Talent & Culture team in Boston, MA and will report directly to the Senior Manager of Recruiting. Specific Responsibilities: This role will be focused on finding talent for a wide range of roles. These roles range from patient facing Care Team roles to Marketing, Sales and Operations roles. This opportunity is national in scope and will support hiring managers in current markets across the U.S, and will play a critical role in helping launch practices in new markets as we grow. Specific responsibilities include: * Partner with hiring managers to establish a clear understanding of position requirements and budget, develop sourcing and recruiting strategies, and define interview/assessment process. * Uses a variety of resources and creative techniques to proactively source, develop, and maintain qualified and diverse pipelines of talent * Review resumes, cultivate referrals, and pre-screen candidates while moving interview process forward in a timely manner * Organize candidate feedback and facilitate interview debriefs * Drive the offer process, including: finance/business approvals, extending offers, negotiations, closing tactics * Uses the full functionality of the ATS (Greenhouse) to manage and track job posts, pipeline activity, interview feedback and candidate communication * Lead weekly meetings with internal stakeholders; communicate key metrics and insights on recruiting pipeline * Proactively identifies and participates in/or leads recruitment-related opportunities for improvement that will enhance the Iora's ability to attract qualified and diverse candidates * Create and own a flawlessly positive candidate experience Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree required * 1+ years of Recruiting experience (agency or full-cycle recruiting experience strongly preferred) * 1+ years of experience in a professional and nationally dispersed organization required (high growth environment a plus) * Knowledge and past use of a web-based applicant tracking systems and other web-based recruiting services such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc. * Very strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing best in class customer service (both internally and externally) * Strong customer management skills with ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers * Strong organizational, time management and process management skills necessary to maintain workload and manage competing demands * Able to prioritize tasks/goals in a challenging, fast-paced environment * Goal oriented and focused on execution * Superb team player, willing to jump in and help out where needed About Iora Health Iora Health is transforming health care, starting with primary care.
