In this role on the Talent Management (TM) team, you will have the opportunity to directly influence Polaris' Guiding Principle of "Best People, Best Team." You will be responsible for influencing and executing strategies to build Organizational Capability through enhancing the value streams of Organization Effectiveness & Change, Succession Management and Strategic Talent Development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Manage the preparation and execution of the company-wide Organization & Talent Review (OTR), including project manage the template, supporting Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) in preparation, meeting management, data analysis, and ongoing tracking of execution
2.Lead preparation for the annual Organization & Talent Review presentation to the Board of Directors (BOD) in support of the company's CHRO
3.Define processes and tools that enable HRBPs to assess and facilitate organizational design, as well as operate as consultant for ongoing assessment of organizational effectiveness
1.Create and maintain tools to engage and guide stakeholders through organizational change
2.Identify opportunities to drive a culture that embraces change and embeds change management into leader standard work
3.Deploy as an internal change consultant as part of the company's most strategic transformation projects
1.Define process and develop standard work and training materials for an ongoing succession management process that integrates with other talent management processes (i.e., performance management)
2.Enhance utilization of Workday to maintain succession plans and provide visibility to talent pipeline
3.Partner with HRIS and HRBPs to define and launch succession management metrics
Strategic Talent Development
1.Create and evolve strategic talent development programs to prepare key talent for senior leadership roles, such as Business President Development (BPD)
2.Improve process to create internal candidate slates to drive talent visibility & promote cross-business talent sharing
3.Develop and implement talent management analytics in partnership with HRIS and HRBPs
Talent Management Team Support
1.Support broader Talent Management team with critical initiatives, as needed
2.Partner with the Early Talent Cultivation team to hard-wire succession planning and development for the company's early career pipeline
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
5+ years of experience gathering business requirements to create processes in Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources (HR) or business functions
Bachelors or higher level degree in HR, Finance, Business, related or technical fields strongly preferred
Previous experience working in talent or organization development preferred
Demonstrated ability to pivot and navigate ambiguous situations
Strong organizational planning and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Acute sense of urgency
Ability to influence without authority; experience influencing senior leaders preferred
Critical-thinking and analytical skills focused on proposing business solutions & driving process improvement
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR data and information
