Summary:

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with internal colleagues to design and deliver recruitment strategies and conduct high volume full-cycle recruitment activities to ensure successful Talent Acquisition from a technical and cultural perspective.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Leader:

Specifically, he/she will:

  • Work independently as a TA Subject Matter Expert and advisor to source, identify, qualify and deliver candidates for assigned client group, including senior-level positions, using a variety of creative recruiting methods.

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR within a highly matrix environment to identify, clarify job specifications to gain cooperation and understanding to effectively generate top quality candidates.

  • Use experience and judgment to lead solutions for complex situations and resolve problems.

  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition Leadership, hiring managers and external partners to understand the needs of the business and develop a recruitment strategy to support current hiring and future growth.

  • Establish and/or maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, HR business partners, candidate pool, and Talent Acquisition team member; influencing best practice recruitment processes and strategies.

  • Establish and execute full-cycle sourcing strategies utilizing your knowledge and technical expertise of recruitment principles and best practices to obtain results.

  • Use traditional and nontraditional resources, including contributions to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards (career fairs, online job board, community networking events, social media, etc.), to identify and attract quality candidates.

  • Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS); suggests alternate recruiting methods as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required; a Master Degree is a plus

  • 5+ years related experience with a strong interest in sourcing and hiring scientific talent

  • 3 + years of experience working within the bio-pharmaceutical industry supporting R&D organizations; experience recruiting in the Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs space is a plus

  • A strong process orientation with the goal of implementing or developing best practices into the talent acquisition function. Ability to develop and execute recruiting strategies to meet staffing goals and objectives in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to establish and maintain effective relationships

  • Experience supporting Director level and above positions is strongly preferred

  • Ability to influence goals, objectives and deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment

Candidate should have leadership and project management skills as demonstrated through previous work. They must work well with a team environment. Data analysis and event management experience is required.

  • The ideal candidate needs to be extremely organized with high level time-management skills, the ability to learn quickly with follow-through skills, be flexible, and have a high attention to detail. They will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as an aptitude for public speaking and presenting.

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. R&D Speclalist to join our growing interdisciplinary molecular imaging team. The candidate will be primarily responsible for generating and characterizing molecular imaging tracers (both radioactive and/or fluorescent) from our expanding portfolio of antibodies and antibody fragments for use in preclinical in vivo imaging studies across several therapeutic focus areas. The qualified individual should have excellent interpersonal skills and have extensive hands-on experience in protein conjugation chemistry techniques and cell culture. Job Duties: * Conduct antibody conjugations with heterobifunctional chelating agents and fluorescent probes. * Characterize antibody conjugates with various biophysical methods including SDS-PAGE, western blot, SE-HPLC, UV/VIS, etc. * On a weekly basis, independently radiolabel and characterize antibody/antibody fragments by radio-HPLC, iTLC, etc. * Carry out cell culture for in vitro cell-based immunoreactivity, internalization and antigen binding capacity assays. * Maintain instruments, troubleshoot instrumental/experimental problems, and order/maintain supplies. * Organize and analyze data, present results in group meeting and/or project team meeting. * Keep good laboratory records and notebooks * Safe handling radioisotopes and good record keeping in use of radioisotopes We are going to expand this replacement beyond supporting iPET conjugations and radiolabeling, characterizations to include conducting some in vitro and in vivo POC studies. We are expecting to increase at least 50% work load in conjugations and radiolabeling to support Onc/Ang and now Imaging Center projects. In addition, we plan on having a hands-on presence for both in vitro and in vivo POC studies for radioimmunotherapy and near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent imaging. These technical initiatives are for platforms that can be applied to different TFAs. Requirements: * Master degree with 5 years working experience or B.S in Chemistry, Biochemistry, biomedical engineering or related field and at least +8 years working experience. * Experience handling radioisotopes is preferred. * A highly organized individual with attention to detail is required. * Must have strong initiative, drive to complete challenging tasks, and desire to learn new technologies. * Must be capable of multi-tasking, working both independently and within a collaborative environment.
